The Foundation
The Little Big Hero Foundation is a subfoundation of the Rütli Foundation, an umbrella foundation for charitable purposes.
Due to Liam’s history, his parents Thomas and Tiffany Wermelinger decided to create a foundation to support various projects of the children’s hospitals in Zurich and Lausanne.
Our vision / mission
Liam has shown us all in an impressive way what a child is capable of if it has a strong will. Despite the difficult time in the hospital, Liam always had a smile on his face and never gave up. The positive memories of Liam’s fighting spirit and optimism motivate us to support children with similar tragic fates. Through our commitment we would like to make the hospital stay easier for young patients and their families.
In addition, we would like to make a significant contribution to progress in childhood cancer research. We currently support various projects of the Children’s Hospitals of Zurich and Lausanne.
